16 pesos Colombian Reserves of $ 20.409 million

The figures from the Bank of the Republic of Colombia show that the Colombian international reserves stood at 20.409 million dollars during the May this year, representing a growth of 3.18% compared international reserves recorded during the month of April this year, which had totaled U.S. $ 19.781 million.

Meanwhile, during the first five months of this year, Colombia's international reserves have averaged $ 18,647 million, which implied a growth of 24.78% over the $ 14.944 million averaged over the period from January to May last year. Such average international reserves recorded during the first five months of this year is the highest since 2000 until today, as during the first five months of 2000, international reserves averaged $ 8,182 million and such behavior has maintained an upward trend since 2000 to date, when Colombia's international reserves averaged $ 18,647 million during the first five months of this year.
